Approximately 9 miles of a combination of singletrack, fire trails, technical switchbacks, rocks, and some sand and roots. Most of the trail is intermediate. Some parts of the trail are really advanced. Great Trail for SW Florida.
I-75 to Exit 182 Sumter Blvd (old exit 32) Go South on Sumter towards North Port/US 41.<br />For Lady Slipper parking lot: make a right on Lady Slipper (first right approx .5 mile) Stay on Lady Slipper. Stay left past 2-story house then follow road through rough section. Park entrance will be on the left. Trailhead is near the creek to the left of the creek crossing.<br />*There are no facilities here. There is a 7-11 & Publix at the intersection of Sumter & Price (see Ball Field directions)<br />For Ball Field parking lot: Stay on Sumter heading towards North Port/US 41 for approximately 2.2 miles. First traffic light (with 7/11) make a right on Price Blvd towards North Port High School. For the trailhead, cross Price Blvd and take a right on the sidewalk and cross the bridge and make a left immediately after crossing the bridge. You can either go left (under the bridge for about 2.5 miles of a series of tight, technical loops) or right (which will take you towards the spillway and Lady Slipper).<br />*There are facilities & vending machines here at the park.
